Apple's developer site has a collection of 'who-needs-Flash' pages that 'deliver rich experiences'. While these demos are targeted for Apple's Safari browser (under iPhone OS, Mac OS and Windows), it provides a sampling of HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript that can be viewed (or not) in your favorite browser. Does this change anything for Flash designers/developers out there? Or is this simply another option for crafting a richer user experience?
Here is the breakdown as it looks like right now:
- Video Effects
- Web Typography
- Web Gallery
- Photo Transitions
- Audio
- 360
- VR
- Pixel Manipulation
- Sticky Notes
- Concert Poster
- Checkers
- Light Table
- Offline Calendar
- Movie Trailers

UPDATE: Apple has blocked viewing these demos with anything except the Safari browser. Booooooo!
